Behind the Lens

As a freelance photographer, it is always my top priority to get to know my clients so I can take photos that truly capture who they are. Something that often helps with that is sharing a bit about my personal life, so here are a few things about me to help us get to know each other before you book a session.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona with my mom, dad, and younger sister. My love of photography has been apparent since I was old enough to be somewhat trusted with my dad’s camera, and this was solidified with the photojournalism program at my high school. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have received nothing but support from my close friends and family as I discovered my affinity for the art. In 2019, I moved to Flagstaff for a photography degree with a minor in communication studies at Northern Arizona University. The beauty of Northern Arizona still amazes me every day, which is why I decided to start my business here.

Of course, photography is my passion and my dream career - it blows my mind that I get to make a living off of it! But I also love taking road trips, Halloween, cooking, anything to do with The Lord of the Rings, and rock music. While I’m traveling for a photoshoot or editing images, it’s a pretty good bet I’m listening to Queen, ABBA, Arctic Monkeys, Warren Zevon, or somewhere in between.

But as I said, the best part of my job is getting to know my clients. I want to know what makes you tick so I can create the best possible experience and photographs for you.
