A Wedding Day Walkthrough
It’s needless to say that planning a wedding is often stressful. There are so many things to think about, one of which is the shot list you’ll create with your photographer. This is basically a walkthrough of the day with a list of specific photographs you would like to have. This doesn’t just include lists of groupings for family photos, but also shots of any special moments, details, and memories throughout the day. I’ll work with you directly to help curate the perfect shot list to go with your wedding timeline, and do everything I can to document it all. If you aren’t sure what to include in yours, never fear! I always send my clients a template with plenty of sample ideas. I’ve also created this blog post to create a visual walkthrough of what that could look like for you. Keep in mind, this is just the basics - your day could include many more or less items than I chose to showcase from this gorgeous wedding in Flagstaff. So take a deep breath and let this serve as a good starting point.
Details, Getting Ready, & First Looks
Basically, anything happening before the ceremony falls into this category. This bride chose to do a unique first look with her parents, where they played a quick round of a favorite video game.
Ceremony
Most of the time, photos during the ceremony are pretty self-explanatory. But if you’re incorporating a unique unity ceremony, tributes to loved ones, or any other personal touches, be sure to give your vendors a heads-up!
Group Portraits
Possibly the most important part - make sure to provide an approximate list of groupings for family and bridal party portraits!

Reception
Now for the fun part! First dances, parent dances, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, open dance floor - you name it!
